About the speaker
Anakira Gabriella, Modesto Junior College
Anakira Gabriella-Graça has been working in the higher education space primarily for ÃÛÌÒapp as a Representative for over 17 years.
Anakira entered the industry from her teaching position at Modesto Junior College, where she taught Music Appreciation and Humanities. After she started working for ÃÛÌÒapp, she taught Sociology at Ohlone College and now teaches Soc for Merced College fully online.
Ms. Gabriella holds bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Music from CSU Stanislaus, a master’s degree in music, Vocal Performance from San Jose State University and a masters equivalency in Sociology of Arts and Humanities (CSU Stanislaus & CSU Sacramento). She also earned her California online teaching certification from @ONE and completed the California Online Education Initiative Course Design Academy.
In her spare time, Anakira performs in operatic, musical theater, jazz, and dramatic productions throughout Northern California.
