Well, we know that a simple random sample happens when we put all possible subjects together in a large pool and then pick randomly to build our sample. But in this case, that's not what's happening. Instead, we're putting employees in three separate pools, one for each location, and then picking 10 employees from each. So we're not picking randomly from a large pool, we're picking randomly from smaller pools. This is not a simple random sample, But it does seem to be a representative sample. We're making sure that since each branch is about the same size, we're talking to the same number of employees from each branch. So each branch is going to get represented in the survey.
