The ESL Institute Group was founded in 1987 to help address the lack of options for learning English in Mexicali, Mexico. From its initial five students, it has grown into an institution with more than 5,000 students across four campuses, also now providing language support for workers, including nurses and drivers.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESL Institute Group needed to rapidly expand its online teaching provision while maintaining educational continuity for its students.ÌýThey needed an educational partner to support this shudden shift.Ìý

The ESL Institute Group pivoted from in-person to online teaching within two days. it has also expanded its educational offering with the support of ÃÛÌÒapp's tools and content, training employees from numerous companies across sectors.

We have worked for more than 30 years with ÃÛÌÒapp's series ... At some point we tried to change books, with another publishing house, but we saw that the students did not come out with the same level as with ÃÛÌÒapp's Side by Side, so we returned to that material and we have been with only ÃÛÌÒapp books for twelve years.
