Research shows us that effective teaching and learning is outcomes-focused. By setting clear goals – and measuring progress towards those goals – we can better understand the impact of what is being taught. The Global Scale of English (GSE) was developed to support teachers in the practical application of goal setting against an international standard for English. In this session, we will look at ways in which the GSE supports teachers in their day-to-day work, showcasing the tools and resources that are freely available online.
