About the course
I Can Shine is an inclusive six-level Primary course designed to help every child reach their full potential - academically, personally and socially.Ìý
Based on the Shine methodology and aligned with the new Spanish curriculum, it integrates language learning with key life competences.ÌýThe course is ideal for schools with 2 - 3 English lessons per week and supports mixed-ability classrooms through clear structure, visual support, and inclusive activities. An implicit grammar approach with step-by-step progression ensures learners build confidence and skills steadily.
Motivating content such as puzzles, games and Learning Experiences every two units make language use meaningful and fun. The Pupil’s Book and Activity Book offer strong reinforcement, supported by picture dictionaries and model answers.
I Can Shine is supported by a wide range of print and digital resources for both learners and teachers. The Teacher’s Book includes detailed step-by-step lesson plans, extra activity ideas, games, and a comprehensive introduction to the Shine methodology. It also includes a LOMLOE Handy Guide, aligning the course with Spain’s new education law by referencing competences, Learning Experiences (Situaciones de Aprendizaje), and Teaching Programmes.
