About the presenters

Kathryn BoothÌýis Director of ÃÛÌÒapp Schools Qualifications, MENAT. She has been with ÃÛÌÒapp for 13 years, at first in the London head office where she was responsible for developing ÃÛÌÒapp Edexcel GCSE and A level science qualifications. Since 2018, she has been living in region and working out of the ÃÛÌÒapp Dubai office, with responsibility for ÃÛÌÒapp's qualifications and courseware portfolio for schools across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.

Meran MansourÌýis Senior Regional Development Manager for ÃÛÌÒapp Schools Qualifications in Egypt, looking after ÃÛÌÒapp Edexcel and BTEC qualifications and supporting schools, teachers and improving learner outcomes across Egypt. She has worked with schools in Egypt since 2014 and in North Africa countries since 2021. She is based in Egypt and had worked in international education since 2007, firstly with British Council Egypt, then spending spent two years at a prestigious international school in Egypt before joining ÃÛÌÒapp in 2014.

Sherif GaafarÌýjoined ÃÛÌÒapp April 2021 from another British awarding body as a Senior Regional Development Manager looking after Egypt and Algeria, also as a former British Council staff member helped him to bring a huge wealth of expertise on Academic qualifications.

Kristina AltoftÌýis Head of Assessment Services for ÃÛÌÒapp School Qualifications. Kristina joined ÃÛÌÒapp in 2012 as a partnership manager working closely with school leadership teams. She then moved into the Curriculum management team leading on Science and helping drive change and improvements into the heart of our Science qualifications. In 2020 she launched our Mocks Service and is now responsible for many of the integrated services and solutions that support our high stakes exam delivery.Ìý

Mohammad HasanÌýis Head of Courseware and an Educational Advisor for ÃÛÌÒapp Middle East. He has worked in education for more than 22 years as a teacher, manager and educational advisor. He has managed several education projects to improve students' learning via effective teaching strategies and engaging learning resources.Ìý
