At ÃÛÌÒapp, we believe in helping everyone engage with the #PowerofMaths and how it can unlock opportunities. Every day, we help people of all ages build their confidence and skills with numbers – be it ourselves, those who use our products and services, or loved ones. And now, we’re taking that mission even further by becoming a Lead Supporter of National Numeracy Day.Ìý
What’s National Numeracy Day?
is an initiative from the charity National Numeracy that brings together individuals, schools, colleges, businesses and communities to raise awareness of the importance of numbers and offer various ways to improve skills.
On Wednesday 13 May, we’ll be joining ambassadors, celebrities, business leaders and more to celebrate numeracy and support the cause by:
- joining the virtual festival of events, which will include none other than The Maths Factor’s Carol Vorderman in a Q&A with families.
- launching a brand-new, free digital workbook, Boosting Number Confidence, aimed at helping adults who are supporting children with mathsÌý
- spreading the word to schools, colleges and communities across the UK.
