Performance assessment allows teacher direct insight into the day to day language development of their students. Using the Global Scale of English (GSE) to develop performance assessment can help provide additional insight into the specific areas of learner progress. Additionally, the application of the GSE in performance assessment can improve understanding of learner strengths and needs, improving the overall flow of teaching and learning for all. In this on-deman webinar we will review the development and assessment of performance applications and discuss how to track and measure progress based on observable achievements.聽聽
All attendees will receive access to GSE tools and resources, including rubrics for assessment for young learners and adults. Additionally, teachers will have free performance plans that can be used for direct classroom practice.聽

Sara Davila has worked in the US and abroad including Asia as a teacher, teacher trainer, and educational specialist engrossed in language education, professional development, and curriculum construction. In Korea, she had trained over 7,000 new and experienced teachers for work in public school situations for 6 years as a part of a government-led project. Recently she has supported to implement the Global Scale of English in Panama Bilingual Program, a government-led initiative designed to nurture state school teachers and students to become bilingual by 2025.
